Attorney Rick Lavery, Jr. is a personal injury lawyer and skilled litigator specializing in accident cases and wrongful death claims. With over a decade of experience, Rick has established himself as a compassionate and formidable advocate for his clients.

Rick graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh and went on to earn his law degree from Florida State University College of Law. During law school, Rick gained invaluable experience clerking for a medical malpractice defense firm and serving as an Administrative Law Judicial Clerk at the Department of Administrative Hearings. These roles provided him with a solid foundation in legal proceedings and case management, which he has built upon throughout his career. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2016 and began his professional journey at a small firm in Orlando, where he discovered his passion for advocating on behalf of injured victims. He also worked at a personal injury law firm in Pensacola before moving to the Treasure Coast.

In 2019, Rick joined the Social Security and Veterans’ Disability Department of Hoskins, Turco, Lloyd & Lloyd, where he helped hundreds of St. Lucie and Indian River County residents navigate the complexities of government programs to get the benefits they deserve. Now, Rick is a member of our Personal Injury Department, where he represents accident victims who have been injured due to the negligence or wrongful actions of others. He handles a wide range of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall incidents, and pedestrian and bicycle accidents.
