Heller grew up in Port St. Lucie, where he attended Port St. Lucie High School. Upon graduation, he obtained his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Florida Atlantic University and received his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in 2015. He proudly serves as a member of the St. Lucie County Bar Association, a board member of the Treasure Coast Justice Association, and a board member of the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Palm Beach and Martin Counties. Recently, Heller was appointed to the Board of Directors of Play Treasure Coast Sports Tourism.
